The Problem:

Until now, the profession Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has had no formal and/or effective means of teaching ourselves how to build and operate successful practices.  The result is an alarmingly high rate of practitioners who cannot make a living by practicing Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.

We are led to believe that if we take that one seminar, or learn that special technique, patients will line up for our services.  Unfortunately, this is never the case and we end up taking these courses and retuning to our empty clinics, with no patients to practice on.  All the techniques and modalities are useless if you don’t have anyone to practice on.

Recent attempts have been made to educate acupuncturists in the area of Practice Management.  Unfortunately most have not shown to be effective because they are either taught by:

•Chiropractors & Other Heath Care Professionals

•Marketing & Business specialists who know nothing about the business or practice of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine

•Personal & Professional coaches who have no knowledge base of Oriental Medicine and/or clinical experience

•Acupuncturists who themselves have not demonstrated their own ability to succeed in clinical practice.

About Acupuncture Business School

There are a select few acupuncturists who are prospering in clinical practice.  The rest of us are struggling or just getting by.  We need to get information from these successful practitioners’ methods and their strategies, and learn from them.  They are not better practitioners, they just know something that the rest of us don’t….how to run a successful practice.

We need mentors!  We need successful practitioners to come together and educate the rest of our profession so that we can all share in prosperity.

The solution to this problem is to seek out those professionals in the field of Oriental Medicine who have actually succeeded in building up and maintaining successful practices.  We need to learn from them directly. 

Acupuncture is a unique profession that requires a very unique business and marketing approach.  We can’t depend on other professions to teach us how to succeed, rather we must look inwards and follow the steps of those acupuncturists who are prospering.
